Craig Harrison
Craig Harrison has over 25 years’ experience in economic development, gained across senior level roles in Australia and overseas, including extensive experience in international trade and investment and regional development.
During his career, Craig has negotiated a number of significant investments and developed and implemented several new international investment strategies. Under his leadership, Craig oversaw significant growth in investment and economic prosperity in both London and Victoria, as well as the expansion of both investment promotion agencies and their overseas trade and investment networks.
In London, Craig developed and established a successful Business Growth Programme, the London 2012 Olympic business program, a commercial partnership program and played a role in establishing London’s Tech City.
At Invest Victoria, Craig led a number of strategic programs and initiatives including a $230 million Hydrogen Energy Supply Chain pilot project, an equity investment attraction fund, an Advance Air Mobility sector and establishing the Invest Victoria Advisory Network.
His regional development experience includes England’s Northwest Development Agency and Gateway to London, which was the agency representing the nine East London boroughs and the majority of venues and areas of investment opportunities for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Craig is passionate about building collaborative relationships between government, community and business stakeholders. His focus includes engaging with the key stakeholders from across the Logan and Redlands and wider South East Queensland regions as the RDA continues to pursue its ambitions for the Logan and Redlands Region to realise its full economic development potential, social investment and environmental sustainability.
